Because of his ability to keenly focus on and understand his client’s wants and desires, Wayne has been a source of real estate solutions for over four decades. Growing up in Redding in a real estate lending, sales, construction and development family, gave Wayne an in-depth understanding of the ever-shifting complexities of real estate markets and property transactions.


Seeing enormous opportunity and possessing an expansive spirit, Wayne relocated to Pebble Beach, California in 1981. He became a sought after real estate project consultant, design and build commercial contractor and developer in the Monterey Peninsula. Wayne successfully completed over twenty real estate projects within ten years. His projects included luxury homes, residential subdivisions, apartment complexes, medical offices, retail buildings, and a hospitality project on the dunes of coastal California.

In 1997 Wayne moved to the Sacramento area to be close to family and established, with his wife Fredericka, Real Estate 1. Within three years Wayne and Fredericka (Freddie) were averaging over 100 transactions per year; placing them as top producing Realtors in the Sacramento and surrounding area.


Wayne and Freddie missed Shasta County’s natural beauty; so in 2003 they moved back to their origins. Known as Real Estate 1, their family owned firm joined Windermere as Windermere NorCal Properties in 2011. Windermere Real Estate is the largest real estate brokerage firm west of the Rockies; employing over 7,000 real estate professionals. Windermere is affiliated with the largest luxury network in the world and provides unparalleled exposure for luxury homes.

As a broker-owner of Windermere Real Estate and a representative of Windermere Foundation, Wayne & Fredericka are proud to give back to the community in which he works. Since 1989, Windermere agents have raised and donated over $28 Million. The Redding office contributes through its philanthropy projects to local families and children in need, yearly.

Wayne’s dedication to serving through teaching and educating numerous professional peers and a long with his outstanding sales achievements, earned him the prestigious Shasta Association of Realtors - Realtor of the Year Award in 2007.
